Redskins won a game…..

they would have lost last season.

I could see after the Barber fumble recovery an SOS team would have give up. Kind of like @ Dallas on Turkey Day 2002 when Roy Williams made the int and walked into the endzone.

But Joe rallied the troops and they were able to hold on for the win.

Yes a coach can make a difference!

He didn't mean Spurrier would give up, but the team would have given up.

Okay, either way, do you think the team would of given up from a tied ball game, home opener?

I dont see Ramsey giving up, and I believe the offence is a reflection of the QB. Ramsey has to much pride, to much fire to just give up in that situation.

But the team also responded last year against the Jets when the Jets came back to make it 13-13.

Tough to say how the team would have done

Throught the first quarter of the season the team was playing well and winning off to the 3-1 start. But then they loss that heart breaker to Philly and I think around the Tampa or Buffalo Game Spurrier lost the team.

I think the turning point of the season was in the Tampa Game when it was 3rd and long (like 15 or 16) the game was still close and Brad Johnson threw a little screen pass that was taken for a first down. The Bucs went on to blow the Skins out and that started to nose dive that ended the Spurrier Era.

i used to think the same way but face it...

we beat the falcons without vick, barely by a FG.

we beat jets without chad pennington, barely by a FG.

the only win im proud of is the win vs the pats.

we just started to face better teams, and our lack of teamwork, passion, and skill was shown.
