sweepea436
I searched (a little) for a depth chart at WR. Does anyone know our starters (definite) at the 1,2 & 3? Sorry if this has alreasdy been posted
bubba9497
I don't think Gibbs has released the actual depth chart per say... as of yet. my guess is Coles Gardner Thrash McCants Jacobs With all 5 getting some playing time
sweepea436
So you think Thrash will be the #3? That was my main question. I work with an Eagle fan and he asked me where he was sitting. I thought he took the #3 but wasn't sure. Thanks.
Destino
McCants is improving every year but he's still best used as a situational reciever. While I have no doubt that he can be a good #3, he's at his best in short yardage and redzone situations. He's a big guy that gets good seperation and knows how to use his body. His weakness is speed, and because of that CB's can play closer to the line of scrimmage. I think all 5 will see a large amount of playing time this year. I'm looking to see Jacobs get on the field more, I think out of the 5 we have he has the biggest upside. Keep in mind that I'm not saying he's the best, just that he has the most unrealized potential. Coles is clearly our best.
sweepea436
Will Thrash be returning any kickoffs? Punts are Morton, but who is our other deep man?
Vegas-Born
Mark my words...Jacobs will be the #3 eventually. He has the speed the hands and the route running. As soon as he is healthy and consistant Thrash will returning kicks and McCants will be situational.
Mr. S
Jacobs could very well rise up, especially for next season, while Thrash is sitll playing solid though, Jacobs wont be getting as much.
