milliondollarslim Posted September 5, 2004 Share Posted September 5, 2004 the skins/bucs game will be all about defense. to win IMHO the skins defense must be very good and cause turnovers and losses. bend but don't break won't get it done this Sunday. my worst fear: what does an opening day loss do to the teams mindset. at this time they are very hopeful,confident and positive. they have worked extremely hard. another factor: the fans have to give the Bucs the blues for 60 minutes. If we can distrupt their offense(i know what your thinking, what offense right ? ) and keep em out of the game from the start, then they don't stand a chance. garg8050 Posted September 5, 2004 Share Posted September 5, 2004 We were ahead 10-7 at halftime, and 13-7 early in the 3rd quarter. On a 3rd and 18, our LB's all decided to blitz and left Pittman wide open for a first down. They score and we turn the ball over (ill advised deep throw from their 40 to Gardner). They score again (on a bootleg, again) and ball game over. Gruden really took advantage our defenses lack of discipline. Things will be different this time around.
