laurent
How can you not include the stiff arm Davis put on Woodson when we played the Rat birds? That was absolutely beautiful and if I remember correctly Davis scored a TD on that run.
cphil006
How about when Stephen Davis stiff-armed Rod Woodson when the Redskins beat the Ravens, 10-3, the year the Ravens won it all.

BG
Damn. That's tough. It's a tie between Jones and Starks. Jones meant to do his, while Starks didn't wuite mean his. I'm going with Jones...

mookie0720
Its Greg Jones and it's not even close. Put away your hatred for Winslow, and Roy Williams, and your homerism for SD on Woodson and realize that any stiff arm that sends a guy airbourne, and knocks his helmet off along with knocking 3 other players back is the best stiff arm of the bunch. matty dread
Chris Brown's was one of the sweetest I've seen in a while, especially since it was against Williams!
Arsenic
i think the arm needs to be straight to be considered a stiffarm ??

Coach Williams
That KW2 wasn't a stiff arm The Jones hit him with more shoulder & forearm than "stiff arm" The thing last night with roy williams was good but williams wasn't expecting it ( you should always expect it) and lost his balance. I'd have to say the best one ever was one davis gave player X against tampa bay.... ________________________________ ________________________________ basically davis got the toss and when the guy went to tackle him he put he hand on the defenders head and about 2 steps later he pushed him down. It looked nasty in full speed though.

Paydirt
I hate the stiff-arm rule. I don't see why an offensive player gets to stiff-arm a helmet/facemask when a defensive player can't grab it. One day someone will get seriously hurt and they'll have to change the rule. 3CardMonte
any picture of the one Stephen Davis put on George Teague in that wild opening day game where we blew a 21pt 4th quarfter lead cant remeber the year. 3Card
gridironmike
While not a stiff arm, do you remembering Alstott road grading a defender while at Purdue? Where is that video?

I have saw them call a facemask on a running back before. I think I saw once or twice in the NFL. I was watching a game last year at my hometown High School where we had an awesome running back last year (John McEachin) and he stiff armed a guy to the ground and broke a long run for a touchdown and they called it back for him putting his hand on the guys facemask, I think they called illegal use of hands. Needless to say we were all pretty pissed at the call. But most of the time with a running back he is not grabbing and pulling, it is a flat hand going at the face mask.
