triple6mafia
i love the guy and he has only continued to impress me. however, to expect him to make the pro bowl this year might be asking a little too much especially because of the caliber of safties that are in the NFC. Tony Parrish could have arguably been the best safety last year and Roy Williams is very good and that's not even all of them. i really do hope so, but my vote goes for next year once he gets some more experience and his talent is gonna be even more superior. Sebowski
The best players don't go to the proowl. The guys who have made a name for themselves do. There are exceptions, but most of the time its the vets even when past their prime. See: Warren Sapp
illone
If he keeps playing the way he has been, he'll end up with around 11-12 INT's at the end of the year, and 5-6 forced fumbles. Definitely Pro Bowl numbers. I personally see him making it his first year out.

Pocono
Well he got the nations attention with 2 picks in the HOF game and then another pick Friday in another nationally televised game. I'd love to see him make the PB and start triggering some of those contract escalators.

xe101
I hear you guys talking, but DAM... don't jinks the man... I think he will get in the pro-bowl next year... remember this is still a learning year for him and he will make rookie mistakes! If he doesn't it's a plus for us!!!! :helmet:
cowboykilla
Jinx nothing. Dude is a baller straight up. I can try to jinx him all day, and he'll still go out and make plays. It's just in his blood. He is a top notch football player PERIOD. I think he was the best player in the draft, and we got a steal taking him at #5. It's about that time for another bold statement from Dr. Cowboykilla: Sean Taylor will be the best safety in the history of the NFL. JonBlaze
Not sure if the Pro Bowl safeties are seperated in the selection/voting process into FS and SS. Taylor will have to beat out proven names like Brian Dawkins, Darren Sharper, Roy Williams, Darren Woodson (injured), Aeneas Williams along with up and comers Mike Brown, Michael Lewis, etc I think it's possible, but he'll have to have a lot of INTs to do so. Lavarisgod
I can definitly see him playing in the pro-bowl this year if he stays healthy and plays the whole season...and I think hes a lock for rookie of the year.

dieselfan44
I pondered over this for a few seconds before answering but my vote is yes. I just believe that this guy is that damn good. The pressure from Williams attack style defense will give Sean more than enough opportunities to make big plays. Rookies just aren't supposed to do the things that he's been doing, especially in the secondary where things can get very confusing very quick. I do think that he is still raw, sometimes playing off ability alone, but that rawness will fade with time. I think it will fade sooner rather than later. Yes to the Pro Bowl! red zone
Though it is only pre-season Sean Taylor has stepped up huge. I think it is safe to say he has exceeded all expectations thus far. Interesting how Greg Williams had to set him up to ensure he would get beaten or be out of posotion. Williams had all the back up d-line in against the Ram starters because he wanted to put pressure on the secondary. Taylor has pro-bowler written all over him. Burgold
The man hasn't played a snap yet. You guys sound like Spurrier in Osaka. Don't get to revved up by preseason brilliance. Preseason is about potential and athletic ability. Regular season is about pressure and execution. He's been great so far. Heck, it's better if he doesn't make the probowl. Chips on shoulders are good things.
Golgo-13
NFC is a great conference for safteys. We have Dawkins and Williams in our division alone. It may be a few years before he gets the nod on the pro bowl ballet. But like somebody earlier said, if he is playing like a pro-bowler, who cares if they vote him in or not.
