I'm opting for 0, but I do have a question for the guys with tattoos.

What is the reasoning for a guy getting one that can't be seen, you know way up on shoulder as opposed to on arm. Isn't the reason you're getting one is to show it off, or as a memento or something.

Just wonderin........

Depending on what you do for a living.....tattoos may need to be hidden by a short sleeve shirt. 'Some' people would judge you by the fact that you have a tattoo. Previously, I thought that in the military it was customary to not have them below the elbows. Regardless, though....the decision on where to get them is a personal one.

Well let me the contrarian here--I won't refuse to date a woman with tats, but come on....these things are so friggin tired.

I mean, everyone and their mom(literally) is getting that lame lower-back tattoo. THEY CANT EVEN SEE IT! It's strictly for everyone else(mainly men, if they're heteros)

At least when a guy gets a tattoo on his arm he can see the thing.

Plus, does anyone think that it sends a certain signal? I mean, REALLY, you see a woman with a tat on her lower back, what do you think she's saying about herself and about her individuality(non-existent)? She's definitely giving off a sexual vibe with that kind of tat--esp because in order for it to be seen in public she has to be wearing certain clothing.

ANd no one thinks how lame those things are going to look in 30 years(faded, wrinkled, dried out...nasty) Oh let's all get tats, we're different!

No, you aren't. In fact, I am officially more of a rebel because I refuse piercings and tats than I was before.

Thanks!

I have one tatoo........on my ankle.....of a ladybug.

I have had it for around 8 years. Long before the current craze of tatoos.

I would like another one on my shoulder. Of a feather.

I have my belly button pierced..........and currently am wearing a REDSKIN button stick. Sometimes I were a ladybug there.

I find tattoos on women highly unattractive, unless they're pornstars.

I know it's wrong of me, but when I see a tattoo on a woman, I automatically think "redneck".

It probably comes from having a dad that was a DJ at a country station growing up, and he was always having to go to these horrible concerts where what seemed like the scum of the Earth would crawl out. I went with him to a few, and that's where I saw the highest frequency of tattoed women.

Honestly, the whole concept of tattoos has never really jived with me. Just seems rather pointless. If you want to make a statement then wear a t-shirt or something, don't brand yourself.

anything more than 3 is not sexy to me, but that's just me. Plus it definatley depends where they are located. On the chest is nice, until you reach about 40 and get all old looking, then they become nasty.

My girl has one on her back, and a sun on her leg. So they are discreet. I have 2 and would like another, thinking about the redskins emblem, but what if they are forced to change there name.:point2sky
