How much do you take out of last night's game?

I'm sure there are plenty of fantasy football players looking towards the Rams offense for players. Bulger, Holt, Faulk, even Bruce. But that normally explosive offense couldn't score against the Chiefs defense last night. Mind you, the Giants put up 34 against them 10 days earlier.

Is there anything to take out of last night's game? Will Bulger be able to keep that offense explosive? Should I keep Tory Holt high on my draft board?

Last night raised some concerns. Are they valid?

I would not worry, their offense is based on timing and protection. They are starting three new offensive linemen and Pace has not reported yet. Pay close attention to their o-line before you pick Holt up but they will get their points, it is early

Faulk is one of my 2 fantasy HBs (he and Portis), so I hope so. Their o-line may send Bulger into a Warneresque downfall this season, though.

I think that all the Rams' offensive weapons are still solid as individual players and can still be counted on as 2nd slots. Starters yes, but they are slipping and this may be their LAST good fantasy year.

I think that the Rams' window of success has closed. I'd still expect a winning record this year, but they're not the same team at all that they were 2-3 years ago. I'm not a particular Bulger fan, Bruce is old as is Faulk, and Holt's the only guy who right now is a bona fide star. Plus their o-line is porous and Turley may miss the year, and Martz has shown that he's very Spurrieresque when it comes to providing pass protection to his QB's. They've slipped back into the league's large middle class.

I agree...Holt is still worth a late 2nd round/early 3rd round pick...Pace wasn't playing but Marshall Faulk is going to be a question mark...I am staying away from him unless he really falls (3rd or 4th round), Bulger throw a ton of picks last year...too many question marks for me even before last nights game. I say let someone else take a chance on them this year...I am staying away!!
