Between "turd" and "Exploit-An-Injun," you really cannot take this article as "journalism." At first, I thought I was a post from a message board. Also, it's rather ironic that, in their effort to substitute the name "Redskins" for something that tries to show that the name is "racist," they used the word "injun." What a bunch of no-brained hypocrites.

If Gibbs didn't like Cerrato or enjoy his work ethic, Cerrato would not still be here. He'd have been fired and certainly not reworked. The fact of the matter is Cerrato doesn't make personnel decisions. He simply rates the players and as part of the process helps finalize choices. The coach generally picks the players he wants as was the case with Spurrier. Before Gibbs was hired Cerrato mentioned Russell would not return because the team was going to have high character football guys going forward.

Most of the guys we've taken have fit that role, including Coles. I'm surprised his character is called into question for taking a hook up at Dillards. If that's a lack of character, the team might only be able to sign the Pope to play here.

I have heard interviews with the guy who started PFT--he loves rumors and loves to try to stir things up. The article is just a waste-Coles has been a model citizen since joing the league and after only one year is one of my favorite Redskins. i could go on and make a case for others but why waste the time.

It's true, The Football Gods are getting nervous :D .

And in all due respect, I can't blame them.

Look! Were no longer the Lone Rangers in the FA spending.

Why? Owners and Coaches are getting smart and cautious at the same time. The only problem with Dan Snyder's spending was, we didn't really have a adequate coach to coach the team. If we did, the aquisitions that were made would've probably panned out. Even though we had some injuries. The smart coaches like we have now will utilize the depth they're bringing in and also prepare the backups to be able to step in ala (Bugel). Bugel was notorious for getting the best outta any OL when stepping in for injured players.

Also, Gibbs is no fool when it comes to having backup players ready to play. That's basically why the Redskins of the Joe Gibbs era didn't really have superstars but step in role players. As a matter of fact, yesterday. I was going over the All Madden Teams during the Joe Gibbs/Redskin era. Check out from the years Gibbs coached some of the players that were selected to the All Madden teams. Alot of those guys during diffrent years were role players and players that stepped in for other players. Other than the Darrell Greens/Joe Jacoby's and the Russ Grimms and John Riggins. The other players were basically non-stars.

Now! since Joe is back, no one can complain about Danny signing all these younger FA's. Why? cause everyone else is starting to do it as well. Scared that the Redskins now have a coach to coach all of these aquisitions. They wasn't complaining much when Gibbs wasn't around. They were merely making fun about what a joke Dan Snyder was and how this technique would'nt work in the NFL. But now! since Joe's around, you have owners like Art Modell complaining about the NFL bargaining agreements and what Danny and the Redskins could do in the FA market if they don't continue to share certain profits with the entire NFL.

It's the fear factor in full effect here. Now! other teams are loading up and giving contracts to players like Danny ala (Eagles) and others. You have fans of other teams complaining about the money Danny's stashing so he can sign all these FA's:laugh: . Get real, it's called adequately working the NFL cap figures to your advantage and having a adequate finance team that can crunch numbers like crazy.

Let's face it, if you can't beat em' join em' as the old saying goes. But the sad part about this is, we haven't beat anyone "YET". But now since JOE is BACK, Other teams aren't taking any chances. They're also starting to saddle up and spending money on FA and taking players before Danny gets hold to them. Or shall I say Joe Gibbs gets hold to them:D .

The same goes for Coles, who was Peter Warrick's partner in crime when they got that bargain basement clothing deal while at Florida State.

what a bunch of horse-sh!t!
