thinker
Maybe we cut Moore, then don't match for Johnson ($2.2 million cap hit this year is just too much), to dissuade b-more from even making an offer to McCants.
RedskinsMarchingBand
Well if we used the moey from Moore combineed wih Johnson's salery already we will loose like .2 or .3 mil on this years cap if we matched Johnson's contract.
Vegas-Born
I think Johnson can contribute...but I agree that the contract the saints have offered is an ugly one.

NavyDave
Obviously someone on the staff read about our rants about Moore. What kinda compensation are we talking for Johnson? I hope we do bring back D Mac and iffy and still draft S Taylor.

And it's even more amazing to me that some people don't realize that Bryan Johnson himself was a "flunky" after-the-draft signing by the Redskins a few years ago. And I say this even though I like him. Look, Johnson is a nice player, and maybe they even resign him, but let's not make him out to be God's gift to lead blocking. There *are* other blockers that can be found you know, we're not talking about the grand poobah of lead blocking here.

Meantime, the Redskins are determining whether to match the four-year, $4.12 million offer sheet by the New Orleans Saints to fullback Bryan Johnson. Gibbs considers the restricted free agent critical to the team because the 6-foot-1, 245-pound Johnson was likely to start at H-back and specializes on special teams. TD_washingtonredskins
I think a lot of us are sleeping on Mike Sellers as the H-Back. Art, I definitely agree here....I would not be shocked if he's our starter come September.
KirkNC
Here is the guy the Redskins need to pick up as our future starting HB. http://goduke.ocsn.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/wade_alex00.html
jrfriedm
Okay, first of all what happened to Dockery, I mean he wasn't that bad once he learned the snap count. And What about Rock Cartright? He his a good full back/tight end type player, although he is a bit short for tight end. :eaglesuck:dallasuck:gaintsuck
