It is amazing to me, that so many on this board thinks that the Skins will use some flunky as an H-Back/TE to be Portis's lead blocker. At his size it is even more important to have a very good lead blocker to help keep him from getting too many dirrect shots by LBs, or DL. Let the smaller DBs tackle him. ;)

And it's even more amazing to me that some people don't realize that Bryan Johnson himself was a "flunky" after-the-draft signing by the Redskins a few years ago. And I say this even though I like him. Look, Johnson is a nice player, and maybe they even resign him, but let's not make him out to be God's gift to lead blocking. There *are* other blockers that can be found you know, we're not talking about the grand poobah of lead blocking here.

Meantime, the Redskins are determining whether to match the four-year, $4.12 million offer sheet by the New Orleans Saints to fullback Bryan Johnson. Gibbs considers the restricted free agent critical to the team because the 6-foot-1, 245-pound Johnson was likely to start at H-back and specializes on special teams.

'nuff said

Okay, first of all what happened to Dockery, I mean he wasn't that bad once he learned the snap count. And What about Rock Cartright? He his a good full back/tight end type player, although he is a bit short for tight end.
