The X-Factor
Although none of them are worthy of a #5 overall pick, here's my list: 1) Udeze 2) Wilfolk 3) Starks 4) Smith 5) Harris
Shotgunner
1-Udeze 2-Harris Let us at least use one top pick on our Sad D-line!!!
Art
It's a really hard question. I think we NEED Udeze more. I think Wilfork may be the type of quick, big, dominating run stopper to be the best fit right away. I think Harris has the long arms, quickness and speed to be a great interior force in time. While I think we do need a defensive end more, if we are staying at five, the pick almost has to be Harris. Like Udeze, he has tremendous upside. He's got good speed for a big interior lineman which will help against mobile QBs like McNabb. He's got long arms to help leverage and split blockers though he's a little light. Wilfork is a round guy with shorter arms. If he keeps his weight in check he could be better than Harris. But, Harris has biggest upside for the No. 5 pick. I'd trade down though to get Udeze or Smith first though .
skinsanity56
something tells me harris & smith are the better players 3yrs down the road.could be wrong though..drafttime. hopefully gibbs' stays on this 'we want taylor or winslow' sell long enough that someone @ 6-8 really believes we're taking the player they want & overpays to move up & grab them.& we still get our man(like bailey). although,as we all know, by the time the draft arrives peoples stock has changed so much we may stay @ 5 to get our man period.. NavyDave
The only overpaying that would be sweet is the dolphins ogunleye and their #20 for our #
sacmaster
My money would be on Tommu Harris simply because his weight and speed would be ideal for him to play both DT and DE. The combo (weight & speed) would make an impact at either position kinda like 2 n 1. Kenechi is lighter in weight but could fit the mold also. I give Tommy the nod because its tougher to play inside on a regular than outside and he should be used to going against double teams playing on the interior line.
