AJWatson3
i think more americans would be inclined to vote, really appreciate that privledge, and then bu$h would lose by not only a majority, but in the electoral college too.
dahogs
Because most polls have shown that a large majority of Americans trust Bush to lead the country during the war on terrorism, and one recent poll has shown that 80% of Americans put national security as the top issue during the upcoming ellection, any terrorist attack against the U.S. would clearly benefit George Bush, and all but seal his victory. Joe Sick
I just don't get how people always say Bush would be better in the war on terrorism. When the war in Vietnam called, Bush didn't answer. Just go down the list of these Republican "leaders" who supposedly know what is best militarily. Chickenhawks all! When we were attacked, he froze up and kept reading to those kids. Then he went to find the furthest spider hole he could find. He had never even been off the continent before he was elected. He didn't even know there were different kinds of Muslims in Iraq. You have to have some kind of understanding of who you are dealing with before you can tackle a problem. The guy with the biggest gun doesn't automatically win a gunfight. I mean, is it all based on the fact that he supposedly knows how to fly a plane and Kerry only drove a boat?
Ghost of
VT I'd say it's not based on that ridiculous assertion which you know to be false, at all. It's based on the APPROACH to security and actually having a WAR on these people. Kerry has made it clear from his statements that he would let internation opinion paralyze him and that his concern would be with words and 'feelings' rather than action or results.
