Please feel free to browse around & send a note 03/03/04 The Bachelor What have i gotten myself into? I have decided to be the sports junkies 99.1 in the d.c metro areas bachelor of the month. It has been fun and full of drama. First i had to come into the studio early in the moring like 7:30 and you know that wrong to do to a guy on his off season. I did it anyway and i had to pick 3 of the 10 ladies. one had gotten in an accident on the way to the show so i never got to met her until going on my third date the young ladie back out and all of a sudden became occupied for the next week. And soon as the one who didnt get a chance to make it heard the news called the radio station and asked if i mind if she took her spot. WOW so know im just waiting to go on my last and final date and then i'll up date this page with all three dates and the final out come. 02/02/04 Super Bowl Unfortunally i had to watch the Super Bowl this year, but was this not a great season for football. We had some of the best playoff games and a even greater finish with the super bowl. Houston was not ready for the super bowl and all those people but they welcomed it with open arms. I had fun, i didnt come back to the hotel until after 3am every night and i was there for 10 days prior to the 1st. I was down their working, doing my charity work and doing what i do best make people smile. Hopefully i'll be shining next year with coach Gibbs in Jacksonville. He seems to be the only Redskin from last year's roster who is genuinely excited about Gibbs. Really, he seems like the only player who gets excited about anything at all! Plus, he's a focused guy who spends his time painting and supporting the team and his charity work, not goofing around all the time. Here's hoping we match any offer he may get. Baculus Posted March 4, 2004 Share Posted March 4, 2004 It was pretty cool reading his journal, and it's neat stuff to read for a fan to get a little insight into the man that's behind the jersey number. I have looked at a few of the nflplayers.com journals, and he is the first one that I've observed that has actually written something. That, to me, says a lot of the type of person that he is. (I mean, really, how many players are actually humble enough to take the time out to do something like that?) And he does seem excited about next year - like someone said, one of the few players that seems to have genuine enthusiasm, unlike many players in the N.F.L. I even sent the guy an e-mail basically saying "Hail to the Redskins and kick but next year!," so I am curious if he responds, which would be neat. We BETTER match any offer that is made to Darnerien - I would be quite disappointed if he is picked up by another team, and violently ill if he is wearing Eagles Green next season! Go D-Maak! ~B. The FO said that he is not going anywhere and they intend on matching any offer for him. DMac is a great roll player but he isn't the kind of player you give up a first rounder for, at least not yet. Any team that is ready to fork over a lot of cash for a WR will be looking at TO and eyeing the draft that many are saying is the best draft for WRs in a decade. They gave him a low tender, because they plan on matching the offer. Teams usually give the high tenders, if they are looking for compensation.
