BD
Now that Kearse has gone to the Eagles, Wistrom needs to be priority #1. Who's with me? BD
ATCRedskin82
Agreed my friend im with ya. let the eagles get kearse.....hes not worth all that money.....
Bazooka Tooth
I agree that Wistrom would be a nice addition, and a lot cheaper then Kearse.
Oldskool
Robaire Smith... He needs to be the next player signed.
TD_washingtonredskins
I think we should get a young pass-rusher in the draft. I think the addition of Griffin and Daniels makes our line much better already. That will afford us the opportunity to let a younger player rush the passer with Wynn on the other side. If we get Springs and a safety...we're good to go on Defense.
bnacpa
Smith, Winstrom and Udeze ...
RTerps2002
Wistrom is going to resign to play with Vermiel
Funkyalligator
Nope.......no way we are going to get Wistrom......Sign Robaire Smith...then we have Daniels and Wynn....finally we trade down and draft a DT/DE with around the 10th pick in the draft....Udeze or Harris will be at that spot..... SkinsNorth
Wistrom has a great motor, but he is not a dominant pass rusher. If we want a pass rusher, we will have to look to the draft.
Posse81
No way on Wistrom. We need a pass rusher, not another run stopping end.
Oldskool
how good does this sound? DE Udeze DT Griffin DT Robaire DE Upshaw Upsaw may have to be upgraded but I think with a pass rush up the middle, he can shine.
Mr. S
Wistrom can be a good acquisition, wasnt he ranked right under Kearse? Hes better than Brackens or some of the other DE's out there. I dunno why everyone likes to rely on Wynn, he isnt that great.
bnacpa
what about the guy that Denver didn't sing ... Bertrand Berry or something like that. The guy reportedly had 11.5 sacks last year ... grab him, Smith, and Winstrom. We need depth as well as starting talent so that our rotation won't dramatically suffer. Jurgensen4Prez
Winstrom is a MUST HAVE now, as well as either Robaire Smith or Rod Coleman. Griffin is not as good as either of these guys.
Tmac1577
I think that redskins will go after marcellus wiley now and we are very close to signing shawn springs

Trevor
I rather sign Wiley or Berry than Wistrom. Also I sure don't want to depend on a rookie(Udeze) to provide a pass rush. We need someone we know will bring it, not someone who might. If Udeze was a prospect on the level on Peppers or someone like him then maybe but I don't see Udeze on that level. franchise
I'd rather have Wistrom than Wiley. As a pass rusher, Wistrom has gotten more sacks per year, is 2 years younger, and a better run stopper.
TheDarb
I heard on the radio down here in Jacksonville that Wistrom is about to sign with KC.
Renegade7
C'mon people, he had 8 sacks!!! We aren't goin to get a dominant line this year but we should defiently go after this guy. He can play, is a hard worker, and there's NO WAY we are goin to trade down to put a rookie on the line. He's the #1 priority, because we don't have time to wait for Udeze or whoever ya'll want to draft to get used to the NFL. This guy is a proven veteran, and we can replace Kearse with Berry( 11.5 sacks last year). Ya'll wanted young, hard working blue collar players, well here u are Wistrom. If u want to pass on him u will have me completely confused on what u want. worse, maybe u do not know what u want. Quit shooting down every idea we throw out here if that's the case, the site is being overflowed. Make up your mind before u start criticizing us. This is rediculous. -------------------------------- 0-16, 19-0, skins fan till i die!!! ----------------------------------- 0-16, 19-0, skins fan till i die!!! citigent
sadly we might have to draft Udeze to have a pass rush, but that means goodbye to taylor ,,, noooooo!
2cents
Winstrom is from Missouri and doesn't want to leave, he was also close with Vermeil, so if he goes anywhere it will be KC..sorry guys, I don't see him going to DC.
Renegade7
Williams was Kearse's d-coordinator when he was a rookie and had his best years. We have a far better chance then the Eagles to get the big dance which makes his signing all the more rediculous. Case and point, assume nothing. ---------------------------------- 0-16, 19-0, skins fan till i die!!!

NavyDave
Kearse's signing was about the money Look at the iggles cap space well alot of kearses money was upfront instead of backloaded.
