Die Hard
The search feature... you should really make use of it: -------------------------- FROM THE REDSKINS: http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=464398#post464398 He rejected a nine-year, $55 million contract offer -- including a tiered bonus of $14.75 million -- before the season. -------------------------- FROM THE BRONCOS: http://extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=586435#post586435 Champ received a seven-year, $63 million contract with an $18 million signing bonus plus a $5 million roster bonus. --------------------------
Chrisbob74
The offer he got in Denver was structured more to Champ's liking. The Broncos, as well as giving him money up front that he wanted have given him a contract that is not backloaded, the 'Skins offers had been heavily backloaded. I guess I would of wanted it more like this too, with the way verterans get cut, in a couple of years, he may be a cap casualty, so might as well get the money now

DH, I really like the search feature and use it quite a bit. In fact, I usually end up using one of the last 10 searches. Very helpful and accurate to boot. tenaciousd
I honestly can't believe the size of the contract the Broncos gave Bailey. Its stunning if you look at the details. As per the Fat Man: Particularly interesting in the Bailey contract is that it is not backloaded, as are many agreements of this magnitude. In the first three seasons, Bailey will earn a whopping $27 million, the same per-year average as that of the entire contract. $63 million over 7 years. Whew. The new tagline for the 'Skins haters is "CB is a premium position and a lot harder to find than a running back - Denver got the best of this trade." Like a trade is a competition. Well...maybe the experts are right, because Portis got about 3/5ths the contract that Bailey got.
