atloldskin
Alexander is our posterboy for failure. Pass. Raymer wasn't too bad. Are we resigning Lenny?
RF4L
Hopefully, the days of cherishing other team's rejects are over. At least I pray that they are.:notworthy
bulldog
Marty sure didn't learn much by being here in 2001. He signed away two players in Raymer and Alexander that consistently had durability issues in the NFL. For all the criticism, the Redskins were smart not to try and resign these guys as well as others such as Daryl Gardener and Derrius Thompson. GEB
Raymer was always a favorite of mine. I thought he did a pretty good job for us. OTOH, Alexander was the poster boy for untapped potential. Everyone always raved about his potential, etc....but he was always, always injured. Whe he wasn't injured he didn't impress me that much anyway. laurent
Raymer was a solid guy but he wasn't worth all that money the Chargers paid him. For all the criticism that rained down on the Redskins when they let both those guys go the Redskins sure seem to have had a better gauge of what those guys strengths and weaknesses were then the so called experts.
