Zen-like Todd
Strahan is making Runyan his b*tch right now. He has 3 1/2 sacks in the first half, and right now is 1/2 a sack from tying the NFL single season record. What impresses me about the guy is that he's an all around player. He plays the run very well, has a great motor, and has a huge arsenal of moves, incorporating both speed and power. I really think you have to say he is currently the best defensive lineman in the league. I dont think anyone really comes all that close, either. bulldog
you know the Redskins are in trouble when their leading sacker has 4 sacks in 14 games and Strahan gets 3.5 in one half.
2cents
Yeah, that sack record race between Strahan and Warren Sapp has been something to watch....oh wait, that's right, Sapp hasn't done sh1t as far as sacks except talk...in true Buc fashion of course. Zen-like Todd
Oy... the one sore spot on the skins D this year. Of course, when I was ****ing about it while we were on our 5 game win streak, everyone thought I was just whining.
bulldog
No, I am acutely aware that Coleman has 2.5 sacks after getting 12 last season. Smith is down to 4 from 10. He missed a few games but has still not been the player he was last season in terms of getting pressure either. The worst part? If we don't move Lang back to end, we are looking at the black hole until the draft. There is nothing. Dorian Boose, who had been the #3 end for much of the season, was released last week. I guess that means Donovan Arp is about to get his shot at immortality?
Zen-like Todd
If only this guy was a couple of inches taller.... http://www.profootballweekly.com/content/draft/draft_set.asp?main=keygames_122401.asp
2cents
It really makes you wonder how good our D would have been if we had had ANY pressure from the line. It is the one thing that really sticks out watching other teams. Our D-line gets absolutly NO pressure on the QB. It really is horrible.
