Stratoman passes away

I have some sad news in the Extremeskins Family. I just found out today that Stratoman passed away from a heart attack. He was only 43 years old, I called his cell phone and a friend of his answered and he told me what happened.

It is a big surprise to me, I was very good friends with Strat since 1997. I meet him when I worked for the DISH Network in Colorado. We found out we were both Redskin fans and hit it off. He told me about the Redskin Fan Club that he went to on Sundays at a local bar in Littleton, Colorado and we suffered thought the 1997 and 1998 Seasons together.

Strat and I kept in touch after I left Colorado and moved to Washington State, we use to talk after Redskin Games. He was the person that told me about Extremeskins.

Strat truly loved the Redskins and was an Old School fan, his favorite Redskin was The Diesel #44 John Riggins.

I will miss you buddy and I am sorry you wont be around to see the return Joe Gibbs.

I'm blown away.

Echo what everyone else has said. Strat was a great member of this community. And much more than that in real life no doubt. We forget there are flesh and blood people on the other end of that internet connection. Unfortunately, this year, we've had some all too terrible reminders of that truth.

Fuji, heres to you for letting everyone here know. You are the definition of a class act. Thanks.

And Stratoman, wherever you are, HAIL....

This is just so sad. Strato was one of my favorite members, a real class act to say the least. Right down to his Gigantor sig pic, he was always fun to have here, and will be sorely missed.

He and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Here's to you Bruce  God bless

Stratoman's Last Post

Its fitting that Strat's last post was a news article in Tailgate. He added a lot to this site and was still doing so in his last days.

I wonder if it wouldn't be possible to have a 'In Memory of' section of the site to remember fallen extreme brothers. Maybe someone who knew a member personally could write a little bio. Just a thought though...
