Actually with Portis on this team last year our defense would have been better since they would have time to rest. Smoot turned out to be our best CB not Champ. He would have ****ed about not running enough and Spurier would have let him go and got Eric Crouch or somebody for the RB spot, since he ran the ball about 15 times a game. Anybody ever notice when SS ran the ball more, the 'skins were more effective? Oh well. Water under the bridge. Joe is back and we will run the ball again. If Roland is traded Smoot becomes the number one CB and this is his contract year. The number 2 corner is bauman 5'8 Number 3 Jimoh while he has nice size and speed he hasnt been coached up yet. Besides Gibbs is in charge now, and He will have a huge say into who we draft, and I believe his choice at #2 would have a good chance to be a starter or top player for the skins. Bubba you said the opportunity we don't know if they would start. I would rather do this and trade down to recoup that pick. Pasta Belly acts like Gibbs does not know what is going on with the cap, etc.....Who cares if he has been out for 10+ years....I'm sure he can adapt......overnight if be...
