jbooma
Is he going to take votes away from the left or the right? I am curious what everyone thinks.
NavyDave
IMO both as well as some of the undecided. While I'm conservative I do agree that there should be more than the two parties nader is spinning the same BS as liberals like the stolen election nonsense and the evil corporate environment. There is a naderdontrun.net site the liberals put up because in their mind its an anyone but bush for them.
AJWatson3
nader will get the vote from people who would not have voted for either bush or edwards/kerry. and a couple of the more independent dems too... hey navy dave, it looks like we can both dream about a multi-party system, IMO one of the most needed things in american politics. @DCGoldPants
honestly, I really hope there comes a day where there are 4 or 5 legit parties who have their people in almost all levels of Gov't. I know its a pipe dream right now. But it might actually make people vote FOR people and not parties. I think Nader takes more votes from the Dems than Bush but nothing like 2000. A lot of those people are going to just vote against the best chance to beat Bush....even though its not likely to be enough.
88Comrade2000
Something tells me. Nader meets an unfortunate end. The democrats will not allow Nader to steal any votes from them; so someone will take him out.
Prosperity
Well ideally there would not be any political parties, just people who believe in what they do not follow the party line even if they disagree with it.
AJWatson3
equality, that is a nice pipe dream.

Buddha
Someone correct me (as I pretty much stay out of the political debate threads), but isn't Nader one of those NUTS that runs in every presidential election? Why would he be a threat to any candidate?
UtahSkinsFanatic
Nader will cause serious problems for the Democrats in states like Oregon and Washington. It could turn out that the voting will cause Bush to win those two states and get the Electoral Votes. Without Nader in the picture the Democrats should win those two fairly easy. SKINZ_DOMIN8
As a Conservative/Libertarian.......Nader is right.....it should not all be about the Democrats and Republicans. Both are practically the same except for a few social issues. Both are big spenders and it is time for a refreshing change.
