Skins26
We trade Champ to Detriot for their #6 overall pick. We will replace him with Antwione Winfield so dont you people worry about all that. 5th Pick: Sean Taylor FS Miami - gotta take him, he's the best player in the draft. I was on an NFL Draft message board earlier and there were fans from just about every team that all wanted Taylor, its crazy. 6th Pick: traded down for NE's two first rounders. NE wants Tommie Harris, they need their stuffer in the middle and Washington is getting old plus might not come back. - or they may also want one of the 3 big time WR's, the two Williams's will most likely still be around. 21st Pick: trade up with Pitt. at #11, we trade our 21st and 41st for their #11 and their 3rd rounder. Pittsburg is looking to take a running back, and is pretty sure they can get their man (Steven Jackson) at #21 while also acquiring some extra picks. #11 Pick: Kenechi Udeze DE USC - he will most likely still be around. #32 Pick: a couple options of who we take here. I think it will either be Greg Jones, or Jake Grove. This is a little high for a center but he's what I picture as a Joe Gibbs type guy. And Greg Jones is just amazing. With our 3rd rounder: We take that DT out of North Texas, I am forgetting his name once again. With Pitt's 3rd rounder: We take David Ball DE. Really hard working guy, plays smart. Now this is a little crazy and it most likely wont happen. But I am bored and thought all this up.

All of that sounds great - but we don't have a third round pick. We traded it for Brunell :gus:
earl
if we have #5 and #6, we have to trade both of them, and ensure udeze and starks+ several lower picks.

Brandon Kennedy. I like him a lot too. He was a highly productive player at North Texas and is one of the biggest sleepers in this draft.
Jimbo
Losing Champ and Ramsey would not constitute the perfect draft scenario to me but ending up with Taylor, Udeze and Starks could help ease the pain a little, along with signing either Winfield/Plummer/Taylor/Vincent and rounding it out with Big Ted in the middle. Of course, all this looks great on paper but our paper trail hasn't produced lately.
dblsldyllwlne
i like the idea of taking taylor w/ the 5th and i like the idea of trading the 6th...but i really dont' think udeze will still b there at the 11th pick....i say the skins take NE 2 first rounders and trade w/ a lower pick...if the skins get taylor, udeze, and jones in the same draft....it would be a great foundation for a new team

We're losing Champ. Not Ramsey. When I said #11 I meant the #11 pick in the draft. This does not involve trading Ramsey at all. I would never trade Ramsey, not even for the #1. TheDarb
Sean Taylor is it. We must have him! As for Greg Jones, he's not the same player since his injury. I'm not sure he's all that.
Jimbo
I knew what you meant 26, I was just throwing an all-out scenario out there that showed losing both guys but slightly modifying your scenario. Well, maybe NOT so slightly. In any event, I would much prefer to keep both of them.
