Die Hard
As I'm entering all the data into the games db... I can't help but get nostalgic at times with some of the names I grew up with. Remember Rosenbach? Probably the best Cardinals QB ever. How about Dave Meggett? That guy used to KILL us. He was the original "slash". Used to kill teams with that option pass. Mark Bavaro. Probably the toughest SOB I've ever seen play the game. He defined "clutch". And one of the "good guys" of the NFL. Keith Jackson. There was a time when he was the best receiving TE in the game. Those were the days.
Jay Master Jay
Yes they were and the NFC East was the best division in football. The Eagles defense when Buddy Ryan was the coach. One word Mean remember the body bag game when Brian Mitchell finished up at QB for us?

I've seen that game referenced SO many times... and I don't remember that game at all. Yet I'm sure I've seen it. Can't wait to get my own copy of that game. I remember the Eagles being a little nasty on defense... Andre Waters comes to mind. But I don't seem to recall any particular incident. Eric Allen was one of the best cornerbacks ever. Really underrated. Howard Cross... the epitome run-blocking TE who always used to kill us with clutch TD catches. Keith Byars... one of the best receiving RBs of all-time. Mike Tomczak. I think the term "Journeyman" derived because of his career.
Jay Master Jay
It was a Monday night game in 90 and we got our revenge also. We beat the Eagles in the playoffs that year and Ryan got fired. We won the SB the next year.
National Defense
i was living in philly at that time, and the eagles absolutely brutalized us. we were down to our 3rd QB (b-mitch) running the wishbone. the play i remember is after the knocked out our #2 QB, there was an ABC close-up shot, and you could see the skins trainers checking to see if they could find a pulse. a brutal loss, but we did get our revenge. TD_washingtonredskins
That game was ROUGH. I remember they beat us 28-14 or something but it was MUCH worse and they hurt all our QBs plus about 8 other players.... The playoff game later that year might have been my favorite playoff game ever just because it was such sweet revenge!!!
Zen-like Todd
Ah, the days of Keith, Keith, and Randall. Some of those games were right down to the wire. Good times. Keith and Keith used to drive me nuts.
