Phantasm Posted February 19, 2004 Author Share Posted February 19, 2004 Yeah, I remember in 2001 he said he could never concentrate on racing because every track they went to had a tribute to Dale, since it was the first race at their track since his death. He said it was like a year long funeral. The cool thing is, the guy is really his own man. Many fans (me included) started liking him because of his father. Now, it's all about how he acts and carries himself, with an 'aw shucks' attitude but with that familiar Earnhardt swagger. He is really his own man now.
