In an ideal world...

What do you guys think are the chances of us bluffing on the whole Brunell thing? The consequences? 1. Prevent Dallas from getting Brunell by raising the stakes and looking very very interested by willing to pay a huge contract and a high draft pick.

2. Jacksonville will eat the $2 Million in bonus and will have to eventually cut Brunell for nothing. 3. In the meantime, we stealthily get either Garcia or Dilfer... Your thoughts?

I wouldn't want Dilfer except as a pure back up. I believe Ramsey's attributes are better in all categories except experience. Would Garcia be good out of the west coast offense? Does he have the arm?

I don't think it's a bluff. If it was a bluff there are better people to send than Gibbs. Gibbs needs to be working on learning the new regulations, studying film, and analyzing potential players everywhere. If you wanted to bluff, you send out Cerratto or even Snyder to sell the pitch. I think Gibbs time is too valuable.

I too see this as a possibility....Usually,we are more trickier under stealth in aquiring players....(like last year)

And the fact that we cannot aquire Brunell till march 3rd or 4th has me wondering?

To much time for teams to place their bids and fight for brunell against us....

This very well could be a ploy to raise bids on Brunell (poker hand),to force teams to throw out draft picks and salary....So that Gibbs and CO. can go after what they really want...!

I have no idea why they would do this or what they would gain out of it,But one thing is for certain....Dan Snyder is not stupid....And is the best Buisness owner in the NFL...Nobody can touch this man when it comes to negotiating...AND that is a fact!!
