jbooma
Think about this for a second. Who has taught Ramsey the NFL game so far? Woeful, Matthews, Johnson (when he wasn't worried about his hair) and Spurrier. Now Spurrier is good with young QB's but he would not know as much as a veteran in this league. Look at Pennington in NY, he is so good because of watching Vinny for so long. Brady watched Bledsoe for over a year. We all know Ramsey has the ability to be a great QB but he doesn't not have the know it all about being and NFL QB where you can only learn it from a veteran. In the long term this will make Ramsey even better then we ever imagined. I think this is what Gibbs saw in the tape someone that has the ability but doesn't know the how the position is played in the pros. There is no better veteran available this offseason except Brunell, and Gibbs knows this.
@DCGoldPants
I feel like I am chasing you around here on this topic. Gibbs, a well coached OL and a running game will make Ramsey better. Brunell will make Ramsey healthy while he holds a clipboard.

@DCGoldPants
I think Brunell is overrated, especially at this point in his career. Who knows if he can learn another offense over again? He was in 1 for so long, then last year he didn't play a lot in Del Rio's.

Chopper Dave
Yeah, Spurrier taught him how to get the sh*t beaten out of him.

@DCGoldPants
ok, Vikings were 98. My point is that it wasn't quite yesterday that he did this. I got an idea. We should go out and get Bruce Smith and Deion Sanders!
arkowi
Or just hire Brunell as a QB coach, hahaha
BG
I think JBOOMA is right here. I'd prefer MB on the sidelines. PR is one of the better Qb's SOS had, but I don't think he learned much from SOS other then how to not rely on your teammates for blocking. Not particularly something we wanted him to learn.....
