Or maybe you're going off rumor and attempting to justify IN ADVANCE any potential move that Gibbs makes?

I get a real kick out of you guys sometimes. Just because someone disagrees with a person, there has to be some underlying reason. It's been that way in the Taylor/Winslow/DL debate, on who to hire as coach, and now it's that way on this issue, as this refrain keeps showing up everywhere, including at CPND.

You know, it is possible for two or more people to disagree on personnel evaluations. Just because someone doesn't agree with you that "Brunell is crap" doesn't mean that he is just a Joe Gibbs tail kisser.

Come on.

Brunell is crap--rest assured we can win in stretches with him, but we won't win no title.

this is the best lame response you can come up with? You sound like a cowboy fan...:dallasuck

Not that I agree with the prospect of getting, AND STARTING Brunell, but we should also remember that Doug Williams and Mark Rypien weren't exactly 'at the top of their game' when they led the Skins to 2 Superbowl wins....

I'm not slamming Ramsey, I just think some people are being to hard headed with regards to Brunell possibly being added to the roster...

GO PATRICK!!! Show Brunell you 'da man in training camp...

In truth, St. Pat is still an unknown. He has shown the most potential of any QB in his draft class - I'd still take him before Carr or Harrington, but he may be just a touch too unproven for Gibbs to want to risk the next year or so on him.

Brunell is no longer particularly durable, so odds are Ramses would likely relieve him at some point during the season. St. Pat is the future, but Brunell may be a wise stopgap measure.
