Mountdrago
A friend sent me this from the Houston Chronicle: The Redskins had a party for sponsors over the weekend, and one of their most illustrious former players, Houston native Darrell Green, called to see if he could attend with a couple of friends. The Redskins told Green to come on down, so he did. But there was a problem for Green. His friends were Tony Boselli and Mark Brunell. Boselli, one of the best offensive tackles in the league for Jacksonville, was forced to retire from the Texans last year because of a bad shoulder. No problem getting Boselli inside the door. But Brunell was another matter. Because he's still under contract to the Jaguars -- and maybe because quarterback Patrick Ramsey was inside -- the Redskins politely told Brunell they couldn't invite him in. Like the Redskins, Brunell handled the situation with class.
Truant
That's BS about Patrick being there. Why is this writer trying to stir the pot? It's tampering if Brunell is still under contract and he goes to a redskin party.

Storm
The point is the looser writer had nothing else to write about and wanted to show he had inside access.
@DCGoldPants
They left out the part where Terry Bradway was hiding in the bushes....but the Skins knew....and they knew that if Brunell came in, Bradway would cry all the way to Commish Tags about it. So, everybody played it safe.
