My guess if you can afford the car the insurance is no problem. Or could be like a Cobra a friend bought. Insurance company told him if you get a ticket sell the car. Pete
Ok, I haven't had any time to look, so this question may be dumb. Is this sucker front mid or rear engine??????? I'm a big Pantara fan, and love Ford.
riggins44
This is mid-engine. It is a little longer then the orginal GT 40. They kept the orginal design intact. Supercharger is a Lysholm screw type. Besides 4V, it is double overhead camshafts. Torque is 500 lb-ft @4500 RPM. Exact horsepower hasn't been disclosed. I can keep you abreast of any info that comes down the pike.

Fan4life
VERY NICE!!!!!!!! I'm guessing 1320 perfomance will be around low to mid 11sec. The Viper finally has some competition.

riggins44
Pete, this will exceed the Pantera and then some. Just to get an idea here are some GT 40 links to give you an idea about the history. http://www.gt40club.clara.net/ http://www.me.mtu.edu/~prater/GT40/GT40.html

riggins44
I've got a serial number for my Ford GT and scheduled for production in Nov/Dec. All of these cars are driven 23 miles in testing before shipped to us. Sorry, in final stages of negotiations with a buyer. Can almost relate to how a GM feels when doing contracts. Mine is suppose to be White with Blue Stripes. This buyer may change it to Dark Blue with White Stripes.
SnyderShrugged
If anyone wants a discount, give me a call! I had the opportunity to take a spin in one (prototype) last summer in Detroit. It was mind blowing!
