Blondie
http://www.superbowl.com/news/story/7055426 Statement regarding the Super Bowl halftime show Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show: "We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime." *********************************************** Blondie

Tom [Giants fan]
I didn't see the halftime show either but I'm sure it won't be long before pics pop up all over the internet.
UtahSkinsFanatic
If the NFL had any guts they would not renew the CBS portion of the tv contract when it comes up for renewal. MTV and CBS are owned by Viacom so loosing the NFL will hurt them if it happened.

spanishomelette
Our 7 year-old watched. In fact I was tellling him to watch the Super Bowl half time show. I feel like an idiot now. We would not have let him watch if we had known that would happen.

You got the half naked women playing tackle football, and a bunch of queers prancing around on the other channels, who would have thought something like that would have happened? TC4
You had to expect MTV to handle the halftime show since CBS was covering the Super Bowl and both CBS and MTV are owned by Viacom
CWBYH8R
Who would of thought that the cleanest halftime show would involve a bunch of gay guys HTTR Mark in SoCal
panel
It is kind of strang that is turns out that the Langerie Bowl ended up a more clean than the real halftime show.
panel
I wouldn't be shocked if CBS didn't know, I think it is plausable that MTV used CBS.
TLusby
Did anyone else think CBS did a horrible job? They never seemed to review anything worthy.
Henry
I thought the whole half time show was terrible. Each act trying to outdo the next. "You think grabbing your crotch is something, listne to me say @ss fifty times!" "That's nothing. Look at Janet's breast! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!" SB Halftime shows have never been that impressive to me, but I'd like to be able to sit down with my kids and watch the signature game of our national pastime without worrying about who's going to moon the audience next. CBS didn't know? Waredrobe malfunction? Bullfeathers. She was wearing a pastie. Someone knew EXACTLY what she was doing. It's not like MTV has a problem with women exposing their breasts like that. Lil Kim made a name for herself wearing outfits like that on MTV. The NFL and the network should have known what they were getting when they signed MTV to handle the show. If they didn't, they are fools. If they did, they are liars. Either way, I was pretty dissappointed with the whole thing. Fortunately, it was a pretty darn good game.
