Sowers
Truly sad, the #34 for Houston Oilers talking about how bad his punishing is affecting him now. This guy was before my time so I don't know about his style or records. Truly sad though cus he seems definately punished for the beatings he took as an NFL star running back. Montilar
Campbell delivered the hits; he did not take them. He would run over anyone and everyone; db's, Lb's DT's DE's.... Think of Lavar's big hits being delivered by a RB. The way he played, he had a short career. No one's body could take that kind of abuse. If he could of played as long as a Payton or Emmitt smith, he might be considered the best back in history.
bubba9497
one of my all time favorite players. I will never forget that mnf game against the Dolphins when he went right 4 times, and scored 4 times, the last time 80 yards. sad to hear he is so ravaged by his injuries. atloldskin
Earl was awesome; a true fan favorite. He was the best punishing runner in the NFL.
