Then the usual chips, dip and pretzels. 30 pack of Miller Lite, 2 bottles of local wine and by the end of the night if the game is a blow out probably some margarita's! And I will be wearing my old Stephan Davis jersey! GO #48!!

Tarhog
Lumpia? Damn....haven't heard that word in awhile....when I was in the Philippines, we'd have folks hike out to the jungle where we were training, set up a fire, and cook it for us right where we were camped. Best damn food I've ever eaten, and appreciated. Without a doubt, the Filipino people are among the hardest working in the world.

NASMTrainer
Very simple this year. BBQ chicken nuggets, meat platter for sandwiches, assorted cheeses, shrimp and crab claw platters. Beer and soda. And 60" of HD football. The only thing that could make it better is if the Skins were playing.

BG
Ripping it here on the Island. TV's are set up, we have a TV in every room in the house, including the bathroom. Got the rabbit ears just for that. 200 wings are on order, as well as an Ice Luge. Keg of Busch beer - the Palisades Beer of choice  Handle of Rum, Jack, Beam, Jagermeister, Gin and Vodka. Have the tire set up in the backyard for the Live Oak punt, pass and kick champoinship. My other roomate(panther fan) has set up that game, dunno what it's called, where you hit the balls on the yard with the weird club thing through the fork thing that you stick in the ground...... Grills fired up for burgers, schnitzels and Wurst and we got a steamer ready for oysters. It'll be a little party here tommorow.........
KDawg
croquet... That's the game with the stick and the forks...

OrangeSkin
I am a freak so I watch the Super Bowl alone. You can't pay attention to the game if there are a bunch of people there. I'll probably be having my usual Sunday fare, which includes a steak and potato for lunch and pizza for dinner. Goody.
Canadian Hog
Orangeskin.......wow, I thought I was the only person in the world who thought it was not dysfunctional to watch the Super Bowl alone. I try not to get caught up in all the hoopla of the Super Bowl. Being Italian, I'm going to have a pregame dinner of pasta and meatballs. There is no denying my mother's homemade pasta sauce. I never really eat during skins games, or football games for that matter, so I don't see the Super Bowl being any different. I'll make a traditional peanut butter sandwich during the half. Give me my bottle of water during the game and I'm good to go.
OrangeSkin
CanadianHog, I'm glad to know that there's more than one of us. I have NEVER watched a football game with anybody but myself and if I'm forced into the situation I can barely stand it. The stereotype of watching the game with your buddies while drinking a 12 pack and wolfing down burritos has just never jived with me. I'm at my happiest when I can lose myself in the game. It's a spiritual experience, if you will. I just can't reach that level when I'm being distracted. Maybe I'm obsessive compulsive or something, but hey, at least I'm not the only one. Ghost of
Yeah OrangeSkin, I know how you feel. I mean, I've watched the Skins games almost all by myself. I did watch the conference title games with a couple friends but my hate for the Iggles allowed me to dive fully into the game. In 2001, I was on the phone for the last few quarter of the Patriots victory. That was OK because my two friends were just as much into it as I was. I kept referring to Tom Brady's eyes--"That's a QB right there, look at the eyes." And screaming like a girl when that kick went through(I hate the Rams and after 9/11 I wanted the Patriots to win--after the Skins were out of it of course) I have an open invite to go to a party where there are said to be latinas in abundance, might have to scope that out. But there's a part of me that just wants to be left alone and eat some salsa and chips.
BG
Wow I am impressed. You deciphered croquet from this babbling jargon of ignorance.............. that game, dunno what it's called, where you hit the balls on the yard with the weird club thing through the fork thing that you stick in the ground...... Good call my friends
