Riggo-toni
I know he's 40, but if the Jets cut him loose and Parcells doesn't go after him, would we consider Vinny as a one year stopgap at backup QB for around vet min? I think he can still play, but he was horribly misused in Hackett's WCO. He's a prototypical downfield passer, which is what Gibbs likes.
Dan T.
I have three opinions on this. 1. No. 2. No. 3. Hell No.
big z
would be nice to have a veteran backup like that man.....
Heavy Jumbo
He definitely wouldn't be a challenge for Pat's starting job. What other veteran FA QB's are out there?
SkinInsite
Of course, he's the best color blind QB in the league.
Darth Tater
Given that we are going to get a vet qb Given that we are not going to get a starting quality qb Yes, he'd be as good as anybody else.

DUSTINMFOX
I wouldn't mind Vinny.....I could see Patrick maybe struggling and him being the savior a la Doug Williams
fish
I think we wanna get a guy that will be around for a few years. THAT leaves Vinny out. What about Redmen though? Could we get him cheap?
KWarner
I wouldn't mind giving up acouple of mid to late round picks for A.J. Feely. The kid is pretty good. Might even be better than Ramsey.
TC4
Anthony Wright might make a good backup QB With someone like Joe Gibbs to do a good job of coaching him into a solid backup to Patrick, it could be a good fit and he would probally come cheap too
nycskinsfan
Doug Flutie..........jk Vinny would make a great QB coach. Ramsey has never had the tutiledge of true veteran.
big z
TC4 said it....Wright opened my eyes a couple times this year in Baltimore....he does have cowboy stink on him....maybe it all came off while he was a Raven....

He's also not the veteran that Gibbs would want as backup.
Riggo-toni
Forget Feeley, King, or any other weak-armed guys. We are not gonna be running a WCO.

AJWatson3
the Jets can't afford to cut Vinny. the cap hit would be incredible. they talk about it on 1050 and the Fan all the time up here.
