I was the Eagles GM. What you can't see looking back is that I had multiple 4th-round picks and was trying to package them to move up into the 3rd round to take TE LJ Smith for the Eagles. I was willing to overpay quite a bit by trade value but no one was willing to trade. Hitting on both of their top pick would really have been a coup! HTTR!
