jimster
To ease the debate of we should get a d-linemen, safety, RB with the #5.............. how about a punter? Brooks Barnard is on the street after New England released him - He played that one game against Miami and did great and was released that week when their regular punter was back to normal. He did not portray any of the things you worry about with rookie punters - didn't play scared, got the ball off and put it in good spots. I say we sign this guy. Hogwash
Barker is a decent punter, or at least he should be after all the practice he got.
TheSchwartz
Anybody that can kick the ball past 40 yards on a consistent basis would be nice. No other requirement other than that.
Sanders 83
Being a golfer I hate the S-word, so if I don't want to hear it anymore, I guess that means getting rid of Barker. We just need a solid, consistent punter. I am sure we will find one this year.
Gamebreaker
Barker was decent...about a decade ago. He's old, and he sucks. Gibbs will definitely be looking for a new punter.
Jake
Barnard is with the Bears again. Not on the street.
