Coach Williams
heres the scenario: we pick up: EITHER~~~staley or dillion 1 DE & 1 DT out of~~~Grant Wistrom, Robaire Smith, Corneilous Griffin, Ted Washington, darren howard, and Keith Traylor DRAFT: SEAN TAYLOR..... ___________________________ QUESTION: If we tag champ and get a 1st and a 3rd for'm would it be worth it if we pick up K.W.2 ? figuring we get vincent or winfield to replace him........ ___________________________

OrangeSkin
If we can get both Taylor and Winslow, I'd say that's a no-brainer. Two players who are possibly the best ever prospects at their respective positions.
GrimReefa
Either Winslow or Taylor. If the question is, do I think Winslow would make a good draft choice, the answer is yes. If it is, should we draft him - the answer is, it depends on who we sign on the FA market and who is available.

Hogwash
We can get sacks in free agency. I want INT's and jack-hammer hits on WR's going across the middle. in other words. Sean Taylor.

You don't really think this is feasible right? I'm trying to do the math here. . . For example: Winfield Dillon Wistrom R. Smith 2 1st rd draft picks You guys have how much money? No team in the NFL can afford getting all of that this offseason.

Winfield - 4 million Dillon - 3 million Wistrom - 5 million R. Smith - 3 million 2 1st rd draft picks - 2 million If we restructure Samuels we could theoretically do this. I have no idea how much Winfield would demand I pretty much pulled that out of nowhere. We could do that pretty easy if its average and just did escalating contracts. Jay Master Jay
What about Eddie George if the Titans let him go and trade down for more picks of value?
Mo. Redskins22
I would say Winfield for Bailey Thomas Jones (TB) as RB Howard or Berry as DE Washington and Gardener if cap cuts as DT With the first pick take Taylor maybe let Iffy go Terrell for sure With the second pick (hopfully the Lions) take Udeze I just don't think JG will be throwing the ball to the TE a lot he is going to want a TE that can block first and then be able to catch the ball second. EvoSkins
Detriot will not take Bailey, but Atlanta might. Champ is from Georgia and ATL needs secondary help. ATL has the coin flip pick with CLE so it will be either the 7th or 8th pick. If the Skins take Winfield and take KW2 with the 5th pick, there is a strong possibility Udeze and Taylor will still be there. Possibilities, possibilities, possibilities...... I basically forgot to add signing bonus in, Terrence Newman is making about a cool million base salary and Jordan Gross is making a million then gets his base salary cut in half. More accurate is probably like 5m

dieselfan44
Keep Bailey definetly. I know he had an off year but so did the entire defense. Taylor's stock is going up with me. I'd rather have my finger nails ripped off than say something good about a Dallas player but Roy Williams is the s#@t. I love a knock you out type of safety. Bowen kept my blood pressure up this past season. I still like KW2 but I think Taylor would also be good choice.
Touchdown Portis!
We must keep Champ Bailey. Once Greg Williams implements a defense that puts sick pressure on the opposing QB, our secondary is going to shine and lock everything down. Champ Bailey will have a great year I think. I do want to see us pick up Sean Taylor, and then get D help later and through free agency. I don't want Dillon or Duce.
Gamebreaker
Champ will be a better player in Williams' defense, that much is certain.

tkatz
Although I would like Bailey to stay I think it is very plausable that if he were franchised the Falcons would be very interested. If we were able to get their first round pick and come away with both Taylor and Udeze it would be the finest draft imagineable. Picture an offseason where we get.....Sean Taylor, Kenechi Udeze, Grant Wistrom, Robaire Smith, etc. Ahh, Wishful thinking.

Coach Williams
I'd say overall majority think holding on to champ, signing some FA Dlinemen and grabbing taylor in the draft is whats best. ....when we do get another RB who would it be? our 2nd rd pick? it seems like everyones anti-staley...yet he's a bruser just like gibbs needs.... whats a better example of a RB....and don't say dillion because dallas will out bid all of us.....its really their only MAJOR need... draft/FA..&...who? panel
trade the best corner in the league, for a TE prospect, doesn't seem like the move to make to me.
