Sweet Sassy Molassy
Yet another draft thread! BTW, you don't draft TE's in the first, it's totally not worth it unless you have all your other important positions (DE, LB, WR, QB, DB) taken care of. OURYEAR#56
We should trade down brotha. We need the defense to be at the top of its game to make a playoff run next year.
dstephens
I say we don't need a cry baby like that! He really showed what he was made of when the Hokies beat the crap out of them this year. He is NOT Gibbs material because he's too much into "ME" and not the "TEAM". We don't need a player who throws little fits because he's open and doesn't get the ball thrown to him. Besides, I agree with the others in that TightEnd is the least of our concerns right now. But hey, I'm not going to bash you for this, everyone has the right to their own opinion, right guys? We're all brothers here, let's save the bashing for the cowgirls!
BCS:BraveCaringSoul
A TE should never be drafted earlier than the 7th round.
Newera
That's the same thing people said about Shockey. He's only a Pro Bowler now. Newera PS. Winslow is a guaranteed pro bowler.
EvoSkins
The Skins need a good blocking TE. Winslow is a pass-catching TE. I'd rather have a big, blocking TE who can catch.
Canadian Hog
Solid TEs can be found in lower rounds. For example: Marcus Pollard: undrafted Shannon Sharpe: 7th round Randy McMichael: 4th round Alge Crumpler: 2nd round

NavyDave
The two best offenses in the playoffs were the Rams and the Colts. Quick!! name their game changing TEs OK name the game changing TEs on the panthers and Patriots We do recall the slobberknocking secondaries of the panthers and patriots this past weekend right? We have two safeties that are free agents and lets say not awe inspiring but are supposed make a difference every down. We have an opportunity to bring in a guy that will make offenses respect the middle of the field as we see with the pokes, iggles and even midgets. Phat Hog
F it... let's draft all offense in this draft.... I mean, that's what wins superbowls... look at Kansas City… We can take Winslow @ #5, then trade our 2 & 3 to move up and grab Kevin Jones… SB here we come baby !! Dickens
Wow I think I'm being sucked into the Sean Taylor hype as well. Even though we need D-line more.
jaxskins
I know we need help on the Dline and all but don't you think that it was schemes and the lack of hidden blitzes that hindered our defense not just the line. Yes I think The DL is a pressing need but we have more picks after the #5 slot to get DLine help. I think you have to draft a playmaker at this spot one that doesn't have questions on wether he could be a good player. We need to draft a great player at this spot wether its a Defensive person or an Offensive person it doesn't matter what matters is you get the best talent you can at this spot and save the other picks for pressing needs. Taylor should be picked at this spot or winslow because when it comes down to it these 2 players will be the best available and they are difference makers. kingchris626
All you guys that hate my post: it clearly states the title of the subject before you link in...why do you bother to open it if you think it's such a bad thing to post. It just means you spend too much time trying to put others down for all the things you hate when you look in the mirror. But Kellen Winslow is a top draft pick. And Ramsey needs someone to throw to quick when were getting rushed all the time. Taylor would be a great pick too though.
