I did a google search and nothing came up. Someone else with the same name did commit murder, but the age didn’t match.

Since it didn't sound premeditated I'm guessing that would probably be a 2nd degree murder charge, which is probably going to net someone around 20 years or so. Not out of the realm of possibility for him to do that time then re-enter the work force at some point. Especially if he was young when it happened.

 

Always possible it was also pled down to manslaughter or something.
