LadySkinsFan
I loved Richard's acting on Law and Order SVU. Wonderful guy according to his many friends. Blurb from article link posted below. Actor Henry Winkler is among those paying tribute to actor and comedian Richard Belzer, who has reportedly died at age 78. Former Saturday Night Live star Laraine Newman was the first to break the news of Belzer's death, calling him "one of the funniest people ever." Winkler, who was Belzer's cousin, re-posted Newman's post and added, "Rest in peace Richard." https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/richard-belzer-dead-183347502.html
skinsmarydu
I saw the RIP earlier. Homicide: Life on the Street was also fantastic. The crossover episodes with the original L&O were monumental...his character's (Munch) interactions with Jerry Orbach's (Lenny) were awesome. Hope they're resting together, they were hilarious.

I didn't watch Homicide, I do remember him paired with Jerry Orbach on the original Law and Order. Such great shows with Richard's presence.
EmirOfShmo
RIP... Actor and comedian Richard Belzer, best known for his role as John Munch on NBC's longrunning police drama Law & Order, shared fitting last words prior to his death, according to writer and longtime friend Bill Scheft. Scheft told the Hollywood Reporter that Belzer "had lots of health issues" but kept up the spirit of his edgy comedy style just before his passing, noting that his last words were, "F*** you, mother*****r." https://www.iheart.com/content/2023-02-19-richard-belzers-last-words-were-exactly-what-youd-expect-from-him/
