Yeah, the interior line was a perfect storm.  I don’t think having Schweitzer as the back up center as a bridge to Week 5/6 when Larson returned was a terrible plan.

the problem is Wes was the backup to both guard spots and center and Turner and Norwell both were hurt in preseason.  And Rouiller and Wes were both coming off of season ending injuries.

When you add all of that up = BAD PLAN.

Turner has been much better as the season wore on.  I recall that he did not participate much in training camp and sat out the preseason.  I’ve said it before, it’s a shame that Charles couldn’t seize that opportunity.

Turner wasn’t remotely ready to play when the season started but had to be use there was literally nobody else.

Charles, sadly, looks like he is destined to be a 4-done player for us.  Backup for a 4 years and then off the roster and float around (maybe) a bit or out of the league by year 5.

Yeah with the Giants weak secondary, its just begging us to throw the ball.  But like I said Atlanta's secondary is really bad, ditto the Vikings but it didn't seem to matter -- didn't help our passing game.

I wonder why that could be?

I don't think the opponents strengths and weakness really come into play for our run or pass gameplan.

The other team could be actual Olympian Gods against the run and be a wall made from Jell-o vs the pass. I have not seen anything that make me believe we wont run the ball when TH is playing.

I can see us attacking the edges like VOR is saying tho. On top of C. Sam I can see a carry or 2 for Terry and Dot. If the new guy is returning kicks again, I think he gets a carry as a new wrinkle.

What if I told you they were down two scores in the 4th quarter in Indy?

I didn't watch it live. Actually stopped watching them live after they were down two scores vs DET.

After they got rid of WJ-III and changed the defense to field the best players, I started watching live games again as there was a visibly different product on the field.

I'm not a fair weathered fan, I just won't waste my time if they're not competitive.

Also, I'm pretty much a grumpy old man who hates Snyder enough to wait the guy out.

They're definitely capable of winning even down 2 scores but I'll watch the replay vs letting them piss me off for the weekend!

2 point favorites on the road against a QB that for all his faults has generally owned us makes me scratch my head.

Listening to a local Giants beat guy on G&D Friday, and he explains away all of the recent ills for them as injury related.  Tight end - Belinger out, killing their ability to run RPO.  He’s back tomorrow, along with quite a few others.

I have a hard time believing the slide is solely due to injuries.

Glad Gibby is back. Is JD done for the year? Not that today is his kind of day.

My prediction is us 13-12

I don't know what the under is, but I'd take it and start either kicker in fantasy.

I also predict the over at 40 on how many times we run the ball. Heini with under 10 completions, but still managing a pick.
