Gotta love the response by a MAGAt when asked about legal challenges to Trump's agenda: "WHO CARES?"

That's how Russia works. Rightsean nothing, only power does. What I hope someone figures out is WHY these citizens think it's OK to throw aside 200+ years of democracy by using violence? How dumb people are to believe that everything Biden does is some corrupt political act without any proof

These MAGA states will suffer in the future... reduced tourism and corporate divestment in those states will just be the start.

Trump cranks up false, inflammatory messages to rake in campaign cash

The fundraising pitch from Donald Trump was neither accurate nor subtle.

It read: “1 MONTH UNTIL ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE! THEY WANT TO SENTENCE ME TO DEATH.”

The message blasted out to his supporters was a reference to the former president’s sentencing scheduled for July 11, when he faces fines or possible jail time after being convicted on 34 charges of business fraud in connection with hush money paid to an adult-film star. A death sentence is not under consideration in the case. Neither is a “GUILLOTINE,” as another fundraising pitch suggested last week.

The incendiary emails are part of a concerted strategy that has allowed the campaign to erase a financial lead that President Biden’s campaign had opened up in recent months, according to people close to the former president who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak for the campaign. But experts in small-dollar fundraising say the solicitations are aggressive even by the standards of Trump’s frequently hyperbolic and inflammatory language.

“I think those are clearly an escalation over and above some incredibly heated rhetoric and some irresponsible rhetoric we’ve seen over time,” said Matthew Hindman, a professor at George Washington University who studies digital emails. “The fact that those messages continue to be sent out tell us about something. The rhetoric has been driven by user response and user donations. If this extreme rhetoric continues to generate funds, it’s going to be rewarded with an even more extreme response next time.”

The Biden campaign condemned the messages as laying the groundwork for more violence. “Convicted felon Donald Trump is so obsessed with his own election loss that he’s become unhinged,” spokeswoman Sarafina Chitika said. “The American people have had enough of Trump’s dangerous rhetoric.”

Trump PAC Is Running Low On Cash As Legal Expenses Mount

Former President Donald Trump’s political action committee had less than $4 million in its coffers after debt at the end of last month, after spending big on Trump’s legal bills this year, according to a Federal Election Commission filing—as Trump navigates multiple civil and criminal cases against him that could incur more legal costs.

Save America PAC, which is paying most of Trump’s legal bills, reported just under $4.5 million in cash on hand at the end of May, after burning through tens of millions of dollars this year to help the former president with attorney fees.

The PAC’s debt, or unpaid legal bills, totaled $861,630 by the end of last month according to the filings, which were first reported by The New York Times.

Trump has spent an average of just under $5 million per month this year through his PAC, much of which has gone to legal bills, meaning by the end of last month, he barely had enough funding to take care of one month’s worth of bills, the Times noted.

Todd Blanche, the attorney representing Trump in his hush money trial, and his law firm were paid more than $1.8 million last month by the PAC, part of over $4.3 million in total spending, much of which went to lawyers, according to the FEC filing.

Quote

Trump: “Where there’s  so much water, you don’t know what to do with it. You know, it’s called rain. It rains a lot in certain places. But uhhhhhh, no. Their idea. You know. Did you see the other day, they just put, I opened it up and they closed it again. I opened it. They close it. Washing machines to wash your dishes. There’s a problem. They don’t want you to have any water. They want no water…”

We don’t say the machine that washes dishes. It’s a dishwasher. Nor do we say the thing that makes your food cold, it’s a refrigerator. .

someone should have to go to Mitch Hedberg’s institute for naming things. “What does that thing do? It toasts your bread. It’s a toaster and I’m going on break.” (Paraphrasing his joke, I don’t remember it word for word, but the dude was funny.)

Part of that is that I'm sure he's never cooked a meal for himself in his life so has never spent much time in a kitchen and isn't familiar with those machines.

Yeah, that was a thought of mine. He’s never touched a dishwasher. Ever.

Oh, he's touched a dishwasher.  I'm sure she ended up signing a non-disclosure agreement.

The dude won’t even open his own coke cans… and constantly eats McDonalds.

He wouldn’t even know where to find a kitchen.

It's classic aphasia. When you can't remember a specific word, you can remember it's function even if it takes a number of words to describe one word. This happens to me often when speaking especially, not so much written. I go silent while I tell myself the function and hope like hell that I remember the word quickly. Or I'll say that I forgot what I was saying and hope it pops back up. When writing, it doesn't happen too often, maybe because I was a writer in my career and I used to sit at my keyboard and stuff would come out of my brain and into my fingers.

Trump doing what you described is indicative to me that he's had some brain event that caused aphasia. I've thought this for a while now. The way he suddenly forgets what he's talking about and just tries to go to another thought. I don't see this with Biden. For example, the State of the Union he was pretty succinct in his speech. After hearing him so often I can tell when he's trying to manage his stutter, he does that pretty good.

The difference between Trump and Biden has to do with Trump's obvious decline in brain function. When in the White House, his abbreviated work day, his often golf days. He's acting like a retired old man.

He's probably touched dozens.

But they can't be certain whether it was his fingers.
