CobraCommander
You know it's a lopsided year when you are 1-4 and still have the 4th pick. Some bad football teams this year.

Warhead36
I don't expect the Steelers to stay this bad, but even if they do, they just drafted a QB. They could trade down though. I think it'll be between us and the Panthers for the #1 pick, but wouldn't sleep on the Bears and Texans either.

They could pull a Rosen and draft a QB again. I will do it if it was a generational QB. I will do what Sheehan said and draft a QB every year until one hits. The Cardinals dumped Rosen in favor of Murray because they hired a new coach who runs an offense that fits Murray, and it was OBVIOUS Rosen was a bust. I don't think Pickett will look that bad even though I'm not high on him and the Steelers aren't gonna fire Tomlin even after one bad year. Spaceman Spiff
It's getting to a point where I just don't even care anymore about the draft picks. Honestly, they could have the #1 overall pick and I'm so down on this team that I think they'll just **** that up, too. Ron coaching AND GM? Martin Mayhew? I don't even know who's in charge of scouting. It's all just a recipe for another waste. Yes, Dotson looks good but a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in awhile. And I don't think there's any QB that could drag this sack of **** organization from the depths that it's currently at right now. And even if there was an amazing talent out there, do you want Ron coaching them? 3

Its fun to talk about on here but ultimately I have no faith in this regime when it comes to picking the right guy or developing him properly.
CobraCommander
We gotta lose to the Bears. We are as bad as them and that would give us two loses against teams with the same record as us. It's not for draft picks at this point, it's to embarrass Snyder as much as possible. 7
CommanderInTheRye
I'm ashamed to admit it but honestly I just want bad things to happen to Snyder. Not bad in an ashes to ashes dust to dust sorta way but anything that makes him as miserable as possible for as long as he owns the team gives me perverse pleasure and satisfaction. This is what I've been reduced to. ☹️

And if they were to pick the right guy they would try to shoe horn him into their “system” and not do what that player does best and make them fail. just look at the moves ron has made Ronald Darby - great season refuses to pay him and they go after a DB that cant play the system they want to shove him into and massively over pay him sends away trent williams lets two guards go this year ( i would have kept flowers) and brings in two washed up carolina rejects destroyed the dl with foolish moves letting settle and io leave with no plan to cover this and doesnt offer payne an extension and then so many other small moves that almost all failed

Ball Security
If we end up with, say, the sixth pick and we like three QBs, how much would we need to give up to make sure we get one?

Better chance to get a Day 1 starter, maybe on the OL w that pick
