Colts haven’t won in Jax since like 2014. I hope the jags embarrass them and we can all enjoy piling on Irsay. Irsay is a horse's ass no doubt. But as a Washington fan, I am well schooled in separating the doings of the team from an asshole owner. I don't really have ill will for that team. The irrationality of their leadership got us a QB for what might end up being a bargain. 4
mhd24
Listened to Cooley's film breakdown on Sheehan's podcast. Secondary (sans McCain it seems (Cooley didn't really mention him)) did NOT play well according to him. He was pretty harsh on Forrest actually. Said Lawrence missed at least one easy walk-in TD that Forrest blew.
lovemaskins
Doesn’t surprise me either, from the first drive and all the jaguar drops and missed opportunities to both corners getting toasted, especially Fuller, I’d say we have a ways to go. Forrest, the rookie, was the bright spot? I’m no analyst, but like I say at work, ‘if I can see it, it’s egregious.’ Edited September 15, 2022 by lovemaskins Wordsmith

It's bad decorum IMO to trade a player to another team and then in effect crap on the team that traded for said player. He didn't crap on this team directly but IMO by trashing a player you just traded (granted not an intense and relentless trashing like Irsay and gave some praise in the soup, too) you are in effect making fun of your trading partner. Then watching the Colts Amazon series from last year they came off to me as a really smug team. They also were so over the top (both coaches and players) that Matt Ryan is a godsend compared to Wentz. And like you I like Ryan more than most here but their over the top fawning about how much he brings to the table versus (Wentz) came off to me and some others as uber obmoxious 2

KDawg
Have the game on in the background while I work. Just keep replaying it. Can't really watch it but I look up and see what's going on from time to time. Holcomb struggled, man. He fills the wrong windows, over fills, velcros into blockers and can't get loose. Davis played much better imo from a quick watch. I'm not sure why the PFF grade is so swayed opposite... maybe because Davis was in coverage a bunch against Kirk and got torched? FootballZombie
Sweat is so good running down those screens. Almost instant recognition. Stupid athleticism don't hurt either.
Going Commando
What a nice day from Sweat, and from the DL as a whole. Might they finally be gelling as a unit? For this team to hit it's ceiling and win the division, we need the back 7 to come together too. But there might not be enough talent back there for them to be good. I wish we had a stud like Jaylon Johnson in the secondary and I feel like that kind of player leading the group would put guys in the right role. Recall his play recognition skills looked excellent and was a ball of energy. 1
HigSkin
LOL on NFL Live, Orlovsky has this gig called The Dan Wagon and carries around a little stick pony. Curtis Samuel got the honors this week. Edited September 15, 2022 by HigSkin
