We didn't have a mascot and had a marching band instead. It was unique, who cares what everyone else does. Chief Zee wasn't a honorary mascot, he was a die hard fan. He wasn't paid to hype us up, he paid out of his own pocket to go the games, win or lose, until he died. Honoring our history would be NOT having a mascot, not pretending Chief Zee was our version of Sir Pur and now we need a new one 😒 This isn't about history or die hard fans, stop trying to convince us they deserve the benefit of the doubt when they continously prove they don't, that it's jus as bad as we think it is or worse. How many times has anyone from the front office or even Snyder come to this site in any official capacity to ask us what we thought in anything? Poll? AMA? Why buy the site and never read it? Because have been screaming what we want for years now and we get BS like "the culture is damn good" in response. It's worthy of complaining about if some of us don't want a mascot and the folks that do have no idea what it is because we were never asked what we wanted, it's being picked for us and shoved down our throat. I also want to second the ceasing of "Honoring Sean Taylor" every 15 minutes, it jus rings hallow now. I mean doesn’t necessarily have to be full armor could just be helmet, or Jedi set up or storm trooper or whatever. I know myself and a couple others have the full get up but there’s several others with helmets. I’d also be more than happy to 3d print a helmet for someone if they were interested in doing it literally had this come of the printer yesterday. Dropping it at a preseason game when the tv audience will in commercial break is dumber than the name reveal on the today show. They actually had a couple of decent videos for the name release. When team first changed name, the backlog for a WFT McLaurin jersey was so ridiculous I canceled the order. Now, black jerseys official got on team store like what two weeks ago tops, and jus got update my order is delayed until December. The blackout game is in November.
