Art
Got this link from another site, from a Cowboys media outlet. Coleman said.... "We were looking for an identity," Coleman said. "It's like we suddenly realized we've got this Pro Bowl running back, and maybe we should start giving him the ball. Really, we just got back to basics, getting our best players out there and letting them do what they do best. We figured out that it's not the system, it's the players. Let them do what they do." Sometimes the sudden realizations are the best one's really . http://web.star-telegram.com/content/fortworth/2001/11/30/nfl/fw010901-1130-XD006-1.htm
Brave
Good article. Coleman sounds giddy after being with SD last year and here the first month ... five wins in a row must feel pretty good (though not nearly as good as six would feel.) Is there a hint of some of the players still not fully on board with Marty but going along for the good of the team? Whatever works, I guess. PCS
Good article Art. In earlier posts,as in during the 0-5 start, i recall some talk of a need to compromise. It has happened. Nice results. Sudden realization. I have this picture of the old "Wow! I could have had a V-8" commercial.
