Tweets not showing

Recommended Posts

I had posted about this the other day but then it started up again.  Tweets aren’t showing up on any platforms (iPhone, iPad, iMac) l.  I think it is actually the threads, not so much the issue coming and going.  The COVID vax thread seems to be the main culprit.

I'm thinking this may be on your end as I'm unable to replicate the issue on Mac running Chrome or iPhone running Safari.

Any idea what could be causing it?  Happening on wife's stuff also.  And different areas of town so assuming different cell towers.

Been having similar problems on and off for over a month now.

It's only when I'm on my iPhone. And only on pages that have tweets embedded. The "list of threads" loads just fine. But go to a thread page that has tweets on it, and the "progress bar" loads to a point (sometimes 25%, sometimes 50%, sometimes 80%) and stops.

Happens on my iPhone, whether I'm using cellular data, or the home WiFi (Cox cable), or work WiFi.

AND, only happens if I'm using Chrome browser. I use Safari, the page loads with tweets.

Tried uninstalling Chrome (thus also deleting all temp files) and reinstalling. No change.

We were in Pennsylvania last weekend and it was doing it there also.  Any thoughts?

Yeah. Stay out of Pennsylvania. :ols:

But seriously, I'm not sure what to tell you or @Larry since I'm unable to replicate the issue.

  • Thanks 1
