Oh, I thought we were living in a world where we thought Brown or Sims were a real threat and because it was fantasy I could play in fantasy land, too. My bad. 2

I drafted Amon in the 5th round in both of my fantasy leagues and he has been a stud for me. I actually sat him last week because he was going up against us. Big mistake. I didn't watch the Lions play last season so I falsely had the impression that he was some mediocre receiver getting a ton of targets last year because they had no one else. Going Commando
He was an absolute stud as a freshman at USC in a receiver room with Tyler Vaughns and Pittman Jr and think there was overlap with London. Came in as a top 15 recruit nationally with JT Daniels. His film from that season when Pittman was a Sr was absolutely electric and it was clear he was the best player of the bunch. I loved him as a prospect and it hasn't really surprised me that he's become so good at the NFL level. What's surprised me is that Tyler Vaughns fell off the face of Earth during the COVID year and never really returned to being the kind of football player he was before. He was the alpha player of that loaded offense. It's impressive how much talent Clay Helton was able to recruit and then utterly squander. Give any decent P5 coach like a Dave Clawson that offensive personnel and they're winning 11+ Games and pushing for the CFP.
NoCalMike
Dyami Brown seemed to have a really good training camp too, it's a shame if he ends up released, but it would be even worse if he ends up on another team that is able to find a role for him where he ends up on the field producing. I can understand why he is the odd man out here. As soon as Dotson was drafted, a smaller speedy WR, I figured that was pretty much the writing on the wall for how high a ceiling they felt Brown had at the NFL level. Voice_of_Reason
Kudos to the kid. Good game today. They got out of him what they wanted to. Hopefully he can build on that. 2
AlvinWaltonIsMyBoy
Dyami was a baller today. Not surprised at the crickets from all the haters.
method man
Definitely a great showing on his part today but this is the only good game he has had here thus far. Hopefully when Dotson returns, that can free Dyami to run more go routes
SkinsWmsbg
I'm far from saying he deserves a spot on this roster. One great game out of the last 22 games? And it's not like he's been ok here and there... he's been abysmal before today. Even JDR or Scott Turner can have a outstanding game plan on any given Sunday and I still don't think they're worthy of their name tag on this team.

NickyJ
At his 2nd year in the NFL, I think it's pretty clear that Dyami is a bust for not being able to usurp Terry Mac, Healthy Curtis, or a 1st round pick in Jahan Dotson before game 5. If you can't do that, you don't even belong in the league.
Voice_of_Reason
It's still up in the air if he can develop into a consistent threat. In college he was very good at tracking deep balls and making contested catches. The interesting thing, both of his long catches yesterday, he didn't make a single move on either of them. He just picked an angle and ran as fast as he could straight ahead, and Carson hit him. That's valuable. But he has to be able to break those routes off to create separation as well. He can't always run a vertical, or DBs will sit on them. So, he needs to develop that 10-15 yard out or in-cutting route.
