Week 14- Team @ 49ers in Arizona Prediction Thread

Recommended Posts

Skins 17

9ers 13

Low scoring game.  Mullens will struggle to overcome the pressure.  Skins will not have much offense, but AS finds a way to win.  I think skins will be fired up to beat TW since he forced his way out.  I would really enjoy putting a nail in TWs season.

Two 5-7 teams face each other. We have a +4 point difference and they have -3. We are playing to take first place in the division and they are playing to climb out of the basement.

Alex Smith completes his comeback by beating his old team in a close one.

WF Team - 23

SF 49ers - 21

The stats are essentially a push, nothing lopsided.

SF is susceptible to the pass and WFT scores from the ground.

WFT is susceptible to the run and SF runs first with Shanahan creative running scheme.

Game plan seems clear and whoever executes and wins the turnover battle wins a 1 score game.

WFT  20

SF     16

24-13 WFT

Logan Thomas goes off again on offense racking up 80+ yards.

But the true surprise will be Peyton Barber who goes over 100 yards rushing and 2 TDs.

On the defense, Cole Holcomb has a monster game, 11 tackles, 1 sack, and a huge goal line stop in the 2nd half.

Is it always 74 for us?

Yes. Usually it’s 10 TDs/extra points and 2  safeties.

If we’re playing a tough D, it’s 8 TDs/extra points and 6 field goals.

if we’re playing Dallas, it’s 9 TDs - all with 2 point conversions to rub it in - and a safety.

I got a bad feeling about this one...

Other teams with letdowns after big, emotional wins last week:

1) Seattle Sounders blowing final yesterday after last week’s improbable come-from-behind win

2) NYG getting beat by cards after their win at Seattle

3) well, we beat the undefeated Steelers last week.

let’s see if we can get into the drivers seat!!
