It was 4th and 6 from the 41 and the Liberty QB had just been lit up, so that why they were trying a 58 yarder with 8 secs left. After the TO, Liberty brought the offense back out and Tech put 3 dudes on the 5 yard line to guard against a Hail Mary. Liberty is a ****ty evangelical school in nowhere, Virginia where formerly homeschooled kids go so they can say they went to college. It’s President just got fired probably for embezzlement and also for watching his wife **** the band (true story). Liberty has one good player, their QB, who transferred from Auburn. Liberty’s kicker was 100% not going to make a 50+ yard field goal, if he had ability he’d have gone to a real school. They won a close race at home against a Clemson team with two flat tires. A true 4th rank team should have blasted this Clemson squad right now. Not surprised at the result at all. True frosh starting 2nd game against senior laden team at home. Actually shocked Clemson was favored. Just think it’s a whole different ball game with Lawrence and Skalski in, and in a neutral site. ND is a solid team, and Book had a good game, but they struggled, and got a little help to pull it out in double OT. Not ready to put them on the same level as a fit Clemson, Bama, or OSU. Think those three are above everyone else this season. Also, goes to show how crap they’ve been under Kelly, that the faithful feel they need to storm the field after a butt squeaking home win against a depleted Clemson. Good win, sure. Great win?
