2020 Game Day Thread

Recommended Posts

Like I said in another thread, Texans don't have the weapons offensively to compete. They are gonna go 8-8.

Edwards-Helaire is gonna have a monster year. My #1 fantasy draft pick and so far very pleased.

I turned the game on at halftime.

I just saw Mahomes throw his first incomplete pass.

He and Reid could be Brady/Belichick.  They could start racking up SBs.

long way to go for that.

Yeah.  But Reid is a spectacular coach and Mahomes is the best QB in the league.  Check back in 5 years.  They could easily stack together 5-6 unbelievable years, 3 or 4 SBs.

Not saying it will happen.  Just that it could.

He's not feeling the rush well tonight.  The run game was working well early on, but can't lean on it in a 17 point hole in the 4th.  They're screwed.

And... oops.

Texans might be worse than Washington..Watt looks like he is done as a elite talent

We haven’t seen Washington yet.

Not just about Reid and Mahomes.  Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy were an unstoppable offensive force after they won their SB together, but it didn't last.  The Chiefs have it all--great offensive line, panoply of weapons, pretty decent secondary, and a DL with a couple of studs on it that gets pressure.  That's what it takes to be as good as they are.

I would bet they would score more than 7 points against that Chiefs defense..

Maybe. But we haven’t seen anything yet.

Mahomes just threw an awful, inaccurate pass. I’m stunned.

I should have added, the Chiefs organization is top notch.  They really are extremely similar to the Pats, except Reid isn’t a male rooster like Belichick.

O'Brien has ran that team into the ground with his GM decisions..

I noticed that last year, plus his "Superman" ego. Dude isn't gonna last

Nice little throw into triple coverage from Mahomes there.  Not the smartest choice but he was bailed out by the flag.

And the flag was irrelevant to the bad decision. It happened behind the INT.

This is the worst Mahomes drive I’ve seen in years.

He got a little lucky on the flag on the INT.

Bit that was a miserable drive for Mahomes.  and it ended with a TD anyway.

He missed a guy in the flat, threw into triple coverage.  And still got a TD out of it.

WFT in years past would have probably ended up getting a Figgie blocked and returned fir a TD.

Glad we don't play KC this year.

We wouldn't have a chance.

However,  we have a chance against everyone on our 2020 schedule

I would like to see our defense against the Texans offense.

I think that matchup might favor us. The caveat, we haven’t seen our team play a snap yet.So we really have no idea.
