Obviously they made him a Major because under Snyder's ownership, Washington has been a Major disappointment.

Privately, Im Generally disappointed. Is Corporal punishment too tough? Admiral effort but nothing Specialist, Pretty Third Class.

Im Gunnery Seaman myself out, this was not Warranted.

Yesterday was the 31st anniversary of the Skins triumph in SB 26.

 

Monday will be the 40th anniversary of the Skins triumph in SB 17, the signature game for the Hogs.

 

The use of the nostalgia from that period in the mascot hype videos is disgusting.

 

The wrong choice was made, because this team has been a DOG for the past 30 years.

I'm just shocked by the replies that there's as many of us that even clicked on the link to watch the train wreck. I can't even bring myself to do it. It's such an embarrassingly low moment, even for this **** show. It would be damn near unbearable if there wasn't a glorious end in sight.

It's a little different now with 32 teams in the league but I'd bet that they go well past that 39 years.

There was a compelling (though not enthusiastic) take on why someone like Shurmur might be interested (light it up for a year, redemption, offers in '24):

Kind of nuts how easily some vet coordinators can fall out of the league. I guess an issue for Shurmur is that none of the assistants working for him ever became head coaches.

I have a friend who has worked for teams in the league for about thirty years, several of which were with a team where Shurmur coached. He told me afterwards that he considered him a “dullard”. I laughed when the Giants hired him as a head coach.

I hope Cincy rolls their way to the SB and wins it too. They are the only team left in the playoffs that haven't one won.  It will also put to rest the rumor of Bienemy as our OC.

I would say it has more to do with salary cap than 32 teams.
