Buddha
Some new jersey numbers per redskins.com-- Darnerian McCants-- 85 Derrius Thompson-- 88 Antonio Pierce-- 58 Donny Green-- 53 Matt Campbell-- 66 And WITHOUT LOOKING UP THE ANSWER (well, I had to in order to come up with the answer), name the last Redskin WR to wear #88 in a regular season game. redman
Without having looked that up, I'd have to guess Terry Orr. ------------------ "Loosen up, Sandy baby. Zen-like Todd
It was freaking me out during the preseason, seeing Pierce in the #94. Even knowing Stubby was gone, it was like Dana had hit the Slimfast hardcore.
Buddha
Both Doc Walker and Terry Orr were TEs. I'm looking for the last WIDE RECEIVER to wear #88.
KevinthePRF
I'm going to have to say Derrick Shepard. I remember him changing his number later though for TE purposes. Ron Middleton I think. For those that don't remember he is the WR that got KNOCKED THE **** OUT during a game against the Houston Oilers in the "dome of pain" by then rookie special teamer, Lamar Lathon. Needless to say, the Lathon kid made a name for himself.
Buddha
I'll have to give you credit for that answer, Kevin, because my resources are conflicting. The answer I was looking for was Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, but apparently both Shepard and Johnson wore #88 during the 1988 season. If I remember correctly, Johnson was brought in midseason to take over punt return duties.
